MCC HOSTS WEEK-END EVENT
 FOR ECUMENICAL YOUTH
 

A gathering of 9th and 10th grade teens from Greek and Armenian Orthodox, Protestant and Roman Catholic churches was held Veterans' Day weekend at Grotonwood, a camp and conference center affiliated with the American Baptist Churches of Massachusetts in Gronton.  The event was planned by a team of youth camp directors and Christian educators from MCC member denominations as part of the 2002 hundredth anniversary celebration.  Nearly thirty youth took part in the program, learning new ways of exploring challenges posed by racial and ethnic diversity through the dynamic leadership of veteran storyteller Valerie Tutson.
